OBIN - Jakarta Fashion Week 2012
SHOTGUN WEDDING -- was one of the theme for Obin's new collection on Jakarta Fashion Week 2012. All the vibrant colors meet Batik and other beautiful traditional fabrics, represents the ancient versus modern ready-to-wear apparels, which divided by 2 dramatic parts of the show.

Betawinese songs played along as the models were walking and dancing wearing the playful collection of Obin's designs, capturing images of the old Indonesian days with the little girls chit-chatting & playing on the backyard. The lights off, and the song turned into a dramatic wedding anthem. A row of models with beautiful Kebaya & Batik collection walked on stage.
Pretty lady in the picture behind was Obin's mother in Kebaya. :)
Every Batik fabrics are handmade & custom-designed, it takes a year to finish the whole collection.
One of my favorite pieces from BIN House collection. :)
the humble Obin, and BIN House designer Wita, closing the show. :)
Kak Shinta, the founder of Bubu.com and also the one who initiates the Batik trip, kak Tara Amelz, Tricia Gosingtian, Christina Topacio, Wita (Bin House's designer), Christina Caradona, and me! :)
Chilling on the top of Grand Indonesia's Skye to end the day.
Tricia taught me how to do a fishtail braid and she did it with my hair too :)) Sisterhood braids!
Kak, itu mungkin JFW 2013?
