H5 part 2.
Mango hat & jumper, Topshop bangle & shoes, thrift store leather short, MK Bag
One of these days I feel like I love blogging even more, through blogging I could go to new and awesome places and fulfilling my traveler soul. I can't explain my trip to New York (and to any other countries along my blogging time) in only one or two posts. There are always so many great impressions remained and lessons learned. I never want to define blogging as a job because I don't want to turn something that I love so much & I can do everyday into some kind of obligation. The first thing I always hold on to is to enjoy all things that I do, that's how I can do it wholeheartedly. People sometimes confuse me with questions of how to start 'working' as a fashion blogger or starting career as a blogger, what is your big goal from blogging, because blogger is not the same thing as fashion stylist, fashion editor, or *sounds even more ridiculous* an actress. Everyone can blog. Nobody hires me to be a blogger, it's my commitment and purely my thoughts and love poured into it. Blogging is not something that I can aim, it's more like a journey, a train ride with so many beautiful scenery that I can enjoy along the way.
I am a curious and a happy-go-lucky person (if you think an always-cheerful person does not exist, well, I exist. :p) and I can't thank my God enough for letting me have such awesome & unexpected experiences in my life. I just realised every experience is a chance for me to learn more and push me to step out of my shell, like being in a band, learning how do to a proper public-speaking, knowing that it's better to show everything you've got than to hide it away. And now I got a chance to be here & interviewing awesome people at New York Fashion Week, I wouldn't have the courage to do such thing if God didn't put me into these kind of situations. This is how He forms me & my life, and I also realised that's plenty of people out there going through the same thing in their life, trying out new things which maybe not their ordinary cup of tea but hey, they're doing something good for their own life. So, why so much hate, people? :)
This Edgar Allan Poe book clutch is my birthday present from my blogger friend Evita Nuh, she made it herself and people at NYFW adore her work! So proud. :)
COuldn't agree more with what your wrote above. Anyway, I'm so proud of you because you're so consistent in chasing your dream. Thank you so much Sonia for sharing so much lesson! May you shine brighter every time ! ;) xx
