Jakarta Fashion Week 2016
Major love on Paul Direk's all-white collection, definitely one Thailand designer I should check out. All the pieces are effortless, quirky and very current. He has the same taste with what Jakartans wear these days so I'd like to say this collection is very wearable.
From my dear friend / designer from Bangkok, Thailand, Thea by Thara's latest collection, mixing modern femininity and classic Victorian era.
Another one from Bangkok, Siam Paragon. Maybe because Bangkok and Jakarta have quite many things in common, their fashion taste is so applicable to wear here.
If I can describe LOTUS' collection in 3 words, it would be playful, child-like, and feminine at the same time. The theme of the runway making it pretty clear: It's a mind of a little girl daydreaming about what she'll be in the future. Working in a chic office wearing pretty clothes.
A perfect description of what 5 years-old me imagine what a secretary looks like.
Sean and Sheila is well-known for their awesome detailing in embroideries. This time they're taking Dragonflies as the theme of the collection, and stepping up the game by doing detailed gold beadings that looked like constellations.
This starry dress though.
Last but not least, Patrick Owen's collection which represented by models with faux candy-colored bob wig that reminded me of Edie Sedgwick era. Patrik played around with primer colours, prints, denim, embroideries, making the collection looked super fun and also the preppy x grunge inspired styling is definitely how I would dress myself up everyday.
Oh, and I walked as muse for my dear friend Aad from Chiel, for his very first show at Jakarta Fashion Week! :)
